Publication of Aspo Plc's financial statement release and invitation to the press conference

ASPO PLC      STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE      February 8, 2012 at 10.40 am

Aspo Plc will publish its Financial Statement Release for January 1-December
31, 2011, on Tuesday February 14, 2012, approximately at 10.00 a.m. Finnish
time.

A press conference for analysts, investors, bankers and media will be held on
the same day at Hotel Kämp, conference room Gallen Kallela, address:
Pohjoisesplanadi 29, 00100 Helsinki, at 13.30 (Finnish time). Registrations
beforehand by email tohilkka.jokiniemi(a)aspo.com, by February 13, 2012, at the
latest.

The meeting will be held in Finnish. The 2011 results will be presented by CEO
Aki Ojanen, CFO Arto Meitsalo and Group Treasurer Harri Seppälä. Presentation
material (in English and Finnish) will be available on Aspo's
websitewww.aspo.com under "Investors > Presentations" at 13.30.
