Proposal for persons to be elected as members of the Supervisory Board          

The Annual General Meeting of Atria Plc will be held on April 29, 2009. Based on
the information the company has received, shareholders representing over 10% of 
the number of votes conferred by the Company's shares announce a proposal for   
persons to be elected as members of the Supervisory Board:

New candidates for the Atria Supervisory Board are Juho Anttikoski, Mika Niku,  
Marita Riekkinen and Tomi Toivanen. They will be presented at the Annual General
