Wärtsilä Corporation Company Announcement 27.9.2013 at 11.00 am EET

BlackRock, Inc. has informed Wärtsilä Corporation that it has sold Wärtsilä
shares on 25 September 2013 and now owns less than one twentieth (1/20) of the
company's votes. Following the transaction BlackRock Inc. owns  9,824,523 shares
or 4.98% of Wärtsilä's share capital and total votes.
