Appointments in Tieto leadership team

Sampo  Salonen,  MSc  (Econ.),  born  1954, has  been  appointed  Executive Vice
President  responsible  for  Tieto's  Global  Service  Lines and a member of the
Leadership Team as of 1 January 2010.

Tieto's  Global  Service  Lines  organization  with  its 10 000 employees has an
important  role  in  ensuring  global-scale  efficiency  and  quality.  They are
responsible  for  corporate-wide  delivery  excellence,  quality  management and
competence development as well as global staffing of projects. Additionally, the
service lines are responsible for the development of horizontal offerings.

Sampo  Salonen  has  an  extensive,  international  experience  in  the  IT  and
manufacturing  industries. He has been working  at Tieto since 2005 as Programme
Director,  Senior Vice President of Forest  & Manufacturing business unit and as
the  head of  Tieto's Performance  Improvement Programme  in 2007-2008. From the
beginning of 2009, Salonen has been working as the Head of Operations in Tieto's
Global  Service  Line  organization  focusing  on realizing the company's global
delivery model, processes and tools, quality management and site strategy.

Prior  to joining Tieto, Salonen has held various executive management positions
with  p&l responsibility for example in Paragon Oy, Åkerlund & Rausing Group AB,
Alma Media Oyj and ActiveInspire Limited.

Responsibility realignment in the Leadership Team
Kavilesh  Gupta, the Head  of Tieto's Global  Services Lines, has been appointed
Executive  Vice President, Customer and Market  Operations (CMO) as of 1 January
2010. He  will take over these responsibilities from Pekka Viljakainen, who will
continue  as Executive  Vice President,  Head of  Tieto International. Gupta and
Viljakainen will continue as members of the Leadership Team.

The aim of this responsibility realignment is to utilize management competencies
more  broadly. This will  help us Tieto  place more focus  on customer and sales
activities and to drive organic growth, sales excellence and innovation. It will
also enhance the development of Tieto International.

Kavilesh  Gupta has a strong background in  sales and delivery leadership in the
Nordic  countries, the UK, Americas and Asia. In  his new role, he will focus on
brand  management, key  customer account  management, sales practices, strategic
bid management and innovation across Tieto.

Pekka Viljakainen has started the streamlining of Tieto International comprising
24 countries  and 8 000 people  during 2009. Development  continues in 2010 with
the  aim to prepare Tieto International for  growth. In the next phase, building
leadership  in all International  countries and extensive  dialogue with Tieto's
worldwide enterprise customers will require Pekka's full-time contribution."Sampo  Salonen is an experienced executive who  will add a lot of knowledge and

challenging   business   transformations,   running  M&A  activities  and  major

leadership,  Tieto has taken significant steps  in the development of our global
delivery  model.  Sampo  will  now  continue  this  work.  Customer  and  Market
Operations  (CMO)  is  a  key  for  our  future growth and we will dedicate more
executive  capacity to this  activity by appointing  Kavilesh Gupta to head this
