Flagging notification in accordance with Chapter 2 Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act

On 5 October 2012, Finnair Plc. received flagging notification from Skagen AS
pursuant to Chapter 2 Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act
concerning shares in Finnair Plc. 

As a result of sale of shares made on 5 October 2012, funds managed by Skagen
AS now hold 5,720,889 shares, equivalent to 4.46% of all shares and votes (less
than 5%). 

Finnair Plc. has a total of 128,136,115 shares and votes. The Company has one
share series, each share entitling to one vote.
