               Payment of Non-executive Directors' Fees in Shares               

Tampere, Finland and Guildford, UK. 6 November 2007…Inion [LSE: IIN.L], a       
company focused on the development of novel biodegradable implants, announces   
that its Non-executive Directors have received Inion shares in lieu of 50% of   
their directors' fees in respect of the quarter ended 30 September 2007. This is
part of a share-based payment scheme previously announced on 8 October 2007. The
share price used to calculate the number of shares issued to each Director was  
40.75p, representing the closing mid-market share price on 28 September 2007,   
the last working day of the third quarter 2007.
