Pihlajalinna appoints new CEO

The Board of Directors of Pihlajalinna and CEO Aarne Aktan have agreed that
Aktan will leave his position as the CEO. “We thank Aarne Aktan for his work for
Pihlajalinna as board member and CEO during more than three years”, says Mikko
Wirén, the Chairman of Pihlajalinna's Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors of Pihlajalinna Plc has appointed Joni Aaltonen,
currently SVP, P&S segment and Head of Corporate Planning of Pihlajalinna group,
as new CEO of Pihlajalinna Plc. The appointment becomes effective immediately.

Joni Aaltonen has been employed by Pihlajalinna since 2008. He has acted in
Pihlajalinna Group as CFO, COO and as from 20 February 2017 as SVP, P&S segment
being also responsible for Pihlajalinna Group’s mergers and acquisitions.
Previously he has been CFO of Plenware Group and auditor at KPMG Oy Ab.

“Joni Aaltonen has wide-ranging management experience, a strong track record in
the successful development of business, extensive experience in finance and
mergers and acquisitions and he knows Pihlajalinna inside out. Joni Aaltonen is
the right person to continue to develop Pihlajalinna according to its revised
strategy, says Wirén.
