Presentation of First Quarter Results

Kaupthing Bank will publish its first quarter results for 2008 on
Wednesday 30 April.
 
A presentation for shareholders and market participants will be held
on the same day, 30 April, at Kaupthing's headquarters in Reykjavik
at Borgartun 19. The presentation will start at 16:00 GMT (18:00 CET)
and will be held in English. Hreidar Már Sigurdsson, CEO of Kaupthing
Bank, will present the Bank's results and answer questions.
 
The presentation and a recording of the webcast will be available on
the Bank's website www.kaupthing.com following the meeting.

Investor Meeting in London
A presentation of the results will be held in London on 1 May, at
16:00 local time (15:00 GMT). Hreidar Már Sigurdsson CEO will present
