DIRECTOR OF BIOHIT'S DIAGNOSTICS BUSINESS RESIGNS                               

Peter Tchernych, Director of Biohit Oyj's diagnostics business, has today given 
notice of his resignation from the company's employment due to personal reasons.
He will leave the company with immediate effect.                                

For the time being, President & CEO Osmo Suovaniemi will take care of the       
international sales and management of the diagnostics business together with    
Sales Director Päivi Lipponen (MSc) and R&D Director Lea Paloheimo (PhD). Päivi 
Lipponen has been with Biohit since 2008 and Lea Paloheimo since 2001.
