Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj: Change in the holdings of AC Invest Five BV and AC Invest
Six BV

Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj (“Ahlstrom-Munksjö”) has today received a notification in
accordance with Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act from
Ahlström Capital Oy on behalf of AC Invest Five BV and AC Invest Six BV.

According to the notification, as a consequence of the merger of Ahlstrom
Corporation into Munksjö Oyj, the proportion of Ahlstrom-Munksjö shares owned by
AC Invest Five BV, a fully owned indirect subsidiary of Ahlström Capital Oy, has
fallen below the thresholds of 15 per cent and 10 per cent on 1 April 2017 (from
18.11% to 9.59%). Furthermore, the proportion of Ahlstrom-Munksjö shares owned
by AC Invest Six BV, a fully owned indirect subsidiary of Ahlström Capital Oy,
has exceeded the threshold of 5 per cent on 1 April 2017 (from 0% to 5.66%). No
notification threshold has been crossed on the group level. Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s
registered total number of shares and voting rights of 96,438,573 shares and
voting rights has been used as the basis of calculation of percentages for the
notification.
