Regarding the denial of false information in the media

Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2013-02-27 09:17 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With reference
to information, announced in the TV3 news programme on 26 February 2013 and
later in the release “Ascertained which companies kept their money in the
failed Ūkio bankas” of the internet portals Delfi.lt and Balsas.lt, stating
that Lietuvos energija, AB kept its funds in Ūkio bankas, we hereby issue an
official denial of the above information. Lietuvos energija, AB did not hold
any account or keep its funds in Ūkio bankas. No processes related to the
suspension of the operations of Ūkio bankas have any impact on the operations
or cash flows of Lietuvos energija, AB.
