GyPSii wins Best Application of the Year award from Telecom Asia for Location

GeoSentric Oyj's (NASDAQ OMX: GEO1V) GeoSolutions BV Business Unit - GyPSii,

and geo-mobility social networking platform, today announced that it has won the
Best Location Based Service (LBS) Application of the Year award in the first,   
Telecom Asia Readers' Choice Awards held December 8th, Hong Kong, SAR, PRC.     

The Telecom Asia Awards recognise the most innovative technology within the Asia
Pacific telecommunications industry.                                            

“For the first time in 11 years, we have chosen to recognise outstanding        
achievements of companies that provide advanced technologies and applications to
regional network operators. GyPSii's has done that to great effect in a very    
short time. GyPSii has added the mobile dimension to the social networking      
phenomenon, connecting people and content in communities to places and networks,
across devices,” said group editor Joseph Waring.                               

Nominations were made by 78 analysts in early October, which were then evaluated
against market data combined with specific input from an independent panel of   
telecommunication executives. Telecom Asia's editorial team then short-listed   
the final four nominations within each category, with the final votes being cast
by the magazine's online subscribers.                                           "This award reflects GyPSii's rapid international growth and position as the
