Pohjola Bank plc to issue Lower Tier 2 subordinated notes                       

Pohjola Bank plc will issue EUR 100 million in Lower Tier 2 subordinated notes  
under its EMTN programme on 23 December 2008. The notes will mature in five     
years, on 23 December 2013.
