Regarding a countercyclical capital buffer

According to the resolution passed by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania from 30 June 2019 onwards a countercyclical capital buffer rate of 1.0 (one) per cent shall apply in the Republic of Lithuania.
A countercyclical capital buffer rate of 0.5 per cent shall apply from 31 December 2018. The current capital buffer of Šiaulių Bankas is sufficient; therefore increase of the countercyclical capital buffer rate from 0.5 per cent to 1.0 per cent would not require any additional measures to ensure the fulfilment of the new requirement.
