HK RUOKATALO GROUP IS NOW OFFICIALLY HKSCAN

Amendments that the Annual General Meeting of HK Ruokatalo Group Oyj
made on 20 April 2007 to company's Articles of Association have today
been entered in the Finnish Trade Register. The most eminent of
amendments was the change of company's name to HKScan Oyj, HKScan Abp
in Swedish and HKScan Corporation in English.

Other amendments were principally due to the new Companies Act which
entered into force on 1 September 2006.

In connection with the change of name, company's codes on the Helsinki
Exchanges alter. New company code is HKS and trading code HKSAV.
Changes enter into force in the trading system on 2 May 2007. ISIN
code remains unchanged: FI0009006308.

HKScan Oyj is parent company in HKScan Group where the largest
subsidiaries are Scan AB in Sweden, HK Ruokatalo Oy in Finland, AS
Rakvere Lihakombinaat and AS Tallegg in Estonia and joint venture
Sokol w in Poland.
