NOTIFICATION ON CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP

Under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act, we hereby
announce that HKScan Corporation has received the following disclosure about
change in ownership. 

On 3 October 2008, Artio Global Management LLC notified that as a result of a
share transaction concluded September 30, 2008, Julius Baer International
Equity Fund's holding in HKScan had dropped below five (5) per cent of the
share capital. At the same time, however, the combined holding of Julius Baer
International Equity Fund and Artio Global Management LLC for its other asset
management clients has risen from 8.21 per cent to 8.77 per cent.

Julius Baer International Equity Fund's (managed by Artio Global Management
LLC) current holding in HKScan Corporation: 
- number of A shares: 1,964,877
- ownership: 4.999 % of share capital and 1.385 % of voting rights

In addition, the shares in HKScan Corporation currently held by Artio Global
Management LLC, (formerly known as Julius Baer Investment Management LLC) for
its other asset management clients are as follows: 
- number of A shares: 1,484,036
- ownership: 3.776 % of share capital and 1.046 % of voting rights

The current combined holding of Artio Global Management LLC in HKScan
Corporation (combining the shares (i) held by Julius Baer International Equity
Fund (managed by Artio Global Management LLC) and (ii) held by Artio Global
Management LLC for its other asset management clients) is as follows: 
- number of A shares: 3,448,913
- ownership: 8.774 % of share capital and 2.430 % of voting rights

The other entities belonging to the Julius Baer Group do not have holdings in
HKScan Corporation. 

As at September 30, 2008, the registered share capital of HKScan Corporation
comprises a total of 39,306,193 shares (33,906,193 A-shares and 5,400,000
K-shares), said shares entitling to a total of 141,906,193 votes (A-shares each
convey one vote, K-shares each convey 20 votes).
