The delivery agreement on implementation amounts to approximately 1.5 million euros. In 2010, a further agreement will be made on system support and maintenance, worth approximately 1.3 million euros. Combined, the agreements will have a value of approximately 2.8 million euros. Call for tenders started at the end of June, and Affecto's solution was eventually deemed the tender offering best value for money. The large system needs to be implemented in about a year, as it is to be ready for use at the beginning of December 2010, when the preparations of the spring 2011 spending limits resolution start. Earlier the spending limits and budgets of the state finances were compiled each in their own IT system. Now both will be handled in the same system. The system promotes the collaboration between the ministries, the Ministry of Finance and the parliament. The system reform puts into practice the government's IT strategy. In the new system, the number of users in the ministries will grow from the present number. The parliament and translators are completely new users. In all, the system will, in the future, have approximately 320 users in the ministries, Ministry of Finance, and the parliament.
