OP-Pohjola Group's risk-bearing capacity strong in ECB's comprehensive
assessment , Pohjola Bank plc's figures included in OP-Pohjola Group's results

Between November 2013 and October 2014, the European Central Bank and national
supervisory authorities carried out a comprehensive assessment of the 130 banks
in the European Union that are transferred under ECB supervision in November
2014.

Of the Finnish banks, OP-Pohjola Group was included in this exercise. Given that
Pohjola Bank plc is part of OP-Pohjola Group operating under the principle of
joint liability, its data are included in the test results. OP-Pohjola Group's
risk-bearing capacity was strong in ECB's comprehensive assessment.

In the adverse scenario, OP-Pohjola Group's capital adequacy remained on a solid
basis and clearly above the test's minimum requirement. The Group's Common
Equity Tier 1 (CET1) would decrease to 12.0 %, with the minimum requirement
being 5.5%.

OP-Pohjola Group's results have been presented in the attached tables conforming
to the ECB and EBA templates.
