APPOINTMENT OF TRUSTEE IN ARBITRAL PROCEEDINGS REGARDING REDEMPTION OF SHARES IN PERLOS CORPORATION

Perlos Corporation ("Perlos") has today, 5 December 2007, received
the following information from Lite-On (Finland) Oy ("Lite-On").

TRUSTEE

The Redemption Committee of the Central Chamber of Commerce has on
the basis of Lite-On's application requested the District Court of
Helsinki to appoint a trustee for the arbitral proceedings to
supervise the interests of the minority shareholders of Perlos during
the redemption proceedings.

The Redemption Committee has informed Lite-On today that the District
Court of Helsinki appointed on 4 December 2007 Authorised Public
Accountant Jukka Rajala as the trustee.

The trustee has the right and the obligation to make a case on behalf
of the minority shareholders and to present evidence in support
thereof in the arbitration proceedings. The trustee is not competent
to make or to accept demands relating to the redemption on behalf of
the minority shareholders, nor undertake measures that are contrary
to the measures taken by a minority shareholder.

The District Court will ex officio notify the appointment of the
trustee to be entered into the trade register information of Perlos.
