CHANGE IN PÖYRY'S TOP MANAGEMENT

Mr. Teuvo Salminen, Deputy to the President and CEO of Pöyry PLC,
will at his own request step aside from his present position as of
the beginning of 2010. At the same time, his membership in the Group
Executive Committee will end. However, Teuvo Salminen has committed
himself to continuing, at least until the end of 2010, as a part time
advisor to ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer. The
reassignment of his current responsibility areas will be announced in
due course.

After joining Pöyry in 1985, Teuvo Salminen, M.Sc. (Econ.), CPA
initially acted as the company's Chief Financial Officer, and later
on he headed also the Construction and Infrastructure & Environment
business groups. Since 1989 he has been a member of the Group
Executive Committee, and in 1999 he was appointed Deputy to the
President and CEO."In his various positions Teuvo Salminen has played a key role in
developing Pöyry into an international company with diversified
operations. During the past few years his role in our strategy
process as well as in our mergers and acquisitions activities has
been especially important", says Henrik Ehrnrooth, Chairman of the
Board of Pöyry PLC. "We would certainly have appreciated his presence
in the operational management still for many years, but after 25
years of Pöyry career I do understand and support his decision.
However, Teuvo Salminen will still be available to carry out special
assignments where his broad Pöyry experience and industry
understanding is of great value."

As of 1 January 2010 Teuvo Salminen will gradually also take up the
position as Advisor of the private equity company CapMan Plc.
