HOLDINGS IN COMPANY (FLAGGING NOTIFICATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 9, SECTION
10 OF THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKETS ACT)

Afarak Group Plc ("Afarak" or the "Company") (LSE: AFRK, OMX: AFAGR) has on 3
April 2014 received a flagging notification in accordance with Chapter 9,
Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act from Hino Resources Co. Ltd
("Hino"), a company incorporated and existing under the laws of Hong Kong,
regarding the shares of Afarak.

In accordance with the flagging notification, Hino has completed an acquisition
of shares in Afarak Group Plc and the transaction has resulted in Hino
increasing above 10 and 15 per cent and becoming a 19.27 per cent holder of the
shares and voting rights in Afarak.
