                        DIRECTOR'S SHARE OPTION EXERCISE                        

Inion Oy (LSE: IIN) ("Inion" or the "Company") announces that Auvo Kaikkonen, a 
Director of the Company, has exercised options to purchase 217,161 shares. The  
shares were issued on 21 December 2007.                                         
Following this purchase of shares, Dr Kaikkonen is the beneficial owner of      
1,309,770 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 1.7% of the Company's     
current issued share capital.
