Company “Utenos trikotažas" sales for the 9 months of 2010 reached LTL
45.5 million (EUR 13.2 million), 3% less than during the same period in 2009.
The Company earned LTL 1.2 million (EUR 0.4 million) profit from typical
operations and incurred LTL 0.3 million (EUR 0.1 million) of  pre-tax loss, and
in the same period in 2009 earned LTL 1.9 million (EUR 0.6 million) profit from
typical operations and LTL 0.6 million (EUR 0.2 million) of pre-tax profit. 
 Consolidated Group sales for the 9 months of 2010 reached LTL 52.8 million
(EUR 15.3 million), 3.2 % less than during the same period in 2009. The Group
earned LTL 2.1 million (EUR 0.6 million) profit from typical operations and LTL
1.5 million (EUR 0.4 million) of pre-tax profit, and in the same period in 2009
earned LTL 1.7 million (EUR 0.5 million) profit from typical operations and
incurred LTL 1.7 million (EUR 0.5 million) of pre-tax loss. 
Company “Utenos trikotažas" sales for the III quarter of 2010 reached LTL 15.4
million (EUR 4.5 million), 17.7% more than during the same period in 2009. The
Company earned LTL 0.4 million (EUR 0.1 million) profit from typical operations
and incurred LTL 0.1 million (EUR 0.04 million) of pre-tax loss, and in the
same period in 2009 earned LTL 0.4 million (EUR 0.1 million) profit from
typical operations and LTL 0.1 million (EUR 0.03 million) of pre-tax profit. 
Consolidated Group sales for the III quarter of 2010 reached LTL 17.6 million
(EUR 5.1 million), 16.6% more than during the same period in 2009. The Group
earned LTL 0.7 million (EUR 0.2 million) profit from typical operations and
incurred LTL 2.2 million (EUR 0.6 million) of pre-tax loss, and in the same
period in 2009 earned LTL 0.3 million (EUR 0.1 million) profit from typical
operations and incurred LTL 1.9 million (EUR 0.5 million) of pre-tax loss. 
The consolidated Group results were positively impacted by LTL 1,4 million (EUR
0,4 million) for the 9 months of 2010 and negatively by LTL 2,1 million (EUR
0,6 million) for the III quarter of 2010 due to Ukraine currency exchange rate
(UAH) fluctuation. It is important to note, that it virtually had no effect on
the Company or Group cash flows. 
„The main challenge for the company this year has been very sharply increasing
cotton prices hitting all time highs. The cotton yarn is the main material used
by the company and it was not possible to immediately transfer such cost
increase to our clients. Accordingly, operating results this year are somewhat
below our expectations despite our efforts and improving sales trend. It is
likely that record high and volatile cotton prices will continue in the last
quarter as well.” - says the General Manager of the company Utenos trikotažas
