Componenta has on 22 August 2014 received the following notification pursuant
to Chapter 9, section 5 of the Securities Markets Act, concerning the shares of
Componenta Corporation. 

Keskinäinen Eläkevakuutusyhtiö Ilmarinen's holding of shares and voting rights
of Componenta Corporation has exceeded 5% as a result of the subscription of
shares in the share issue (“Private Placement”) published on 15 August 2014 by
Componenta, where 15 million shares were offered to a limited group of selected
investors. The shares subscribed in the Private Placement have been entered
into the Trade Register today on 22 August 2014.

Corporation before the Private Placement.

Share of total number of shares and voting rights: 6.78%

The calculation basis for the flagging is the total number of Componenta shares
after the Private Placement. Total number of the registered shares and voting
rights on 22 August 2014 is 44,269,224.
