CORRECTION TO RAUTE CORPORATION'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS RELEASE PUBLISHED ON 12  
FEBRUARY 2008                                                                   

The Financial Statements Release published on 12 February, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.    
contains incorrect figures.                                                     

In the figures section of the Financial Statements Release under the heading    
Group Key Ratios the Return on investment, ROI and the Return on equity, ROE    
were incorrect. The correct key ratios for 2007 are: ROI 29.2% and ROE 21.1%.   
The incorrect figures were: ROI 38.9% and ROE 28.2%.                            

The Finnish Financial Statements Release contained an incorrect figure under the
heading Board proposals to the Annual General Meeting. The correct figure for   
the dividend payment totals to EUR 4.0 million. The incorrect figure for the    
dividend payment total was EUR 4.4 million. The correct Board proposal is the   
following:                                                                      

The Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting that a        
dividend of EUR 1,00 per share be paid for series A and K shares, that is, a    
total of EUR 4.0 million, on April 14, 2008. The record date for dividend       
payments is April 7, 2008.
