SC Klaipėdos Nafta transshipment results in June and half-year results of 2011

In June 2011 the Company reloaded 748 thousand tons of oil products into
tankers (12 percent more than in June 2010) and discharged 669 thousand tons of
oil products into the storage tanks of the Terminal (4 percent more than in
June 2010). During the first half of 2011 the Company reloaded 3,992 thousand
tons of oil products, by 2 percent less than during the same period of 2010
when 4,063 thousand tons were reloaded. 

Revenues of the Company during June 2011 accounted to LTL 20.657 million (EUR
5.98 million), 119 percent more if compared to June 2010. The revenues during
the first half of 2011 increased up to LTL 80.6 million (EUR 23.4 million) - by
26 percent greater than during the same period of 2010 (LTL 63.9 million (EUR
18.5 million - during the first half of 2010). 

The increase of revenues during the first half of 2011 was influenced by the
significant factors such as successful operations without intermediaries when
after termination of cooperation with UAB „Naftos grupe“ the Company gained
about LTL 5 million (EUR 1.4 million) additional earnings by applying higher
transshipment tariffs; - the implemented structural reorganization in the
commercial sphere which added LTL 4 million (EUR 1.2 million) earnings from
additional services rendered to the clients for oil products residuals as well
as successful sales in June of oil products recovered from oily ballast and
water contaminated by oil products that brought LTL 5.7 million (EUR 1.7
million) income.
