Trading and Subscription Period with Citycon's 2004C Options to End

CITYCON OYJ    Stock Exchange Announcement       16 March 2011 at 15:15 hrs

Share subscription period by exercising C options under Citycon Oyj's stock
option plan 2004 will expire on 31 March 2011. Trading in C options on the
NASDAQ OMX Helsinki will end on 24 March 2011. Those 2004C options that have
not been exercised for share subscription before the end of March will be
deleted from the book-entry accounts of their holders and from the book-entry
securities system as worthless. A maximum of 1,273,335 new shares can still be
subscribed for by exercising 2004C options. The expiry of the 2004C options'
subscription period also means the end of the company's entire 2004 stock
option plan. 

The share subscription price of 2004C-options is EUR 4.2213. The subscription
price will decrease, on the record date for dividend payment and equity return
28 March 2011, by half of the per-share dividend and equity return possibly
decided by the AGM to be held on 23 March 2011, i.e. by EUR 0.07. As a result,
the new share subscription price of 2004C options would be EUR 4.1513.
