ADVANCE INFORMATION ON THE RESULT OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2007

Stonesoft gave advance information on the sales of StoneGate(TM)
products and net sales of the fiscal year 2007 on January 7, 2008.
This information is complemented by advance information on the result
and annual costs of the fiscal year 2007. The comparable figures of
the continuing operations during the corresponding period in the
previous year are in brackets.

Based on the preliminary data the operative result during the last
quarter was approximately EUR -1.2 million (EUR -1.9 million), which
is roughly EUR 0.7 million better than during the corresponding
period in the previous year.

Based on the preliminary data the costs of the fiscal year 2007 were
approximately EUR 23.6 million (EUR 21.9 million). The operative
result of the fiscal year was approximately EUR -6.5 million (EUR
-6.6 million), which is roughly EUR 0.1 million better than in the
previous year.

The result for the fiscal year (total result), including also the
discontinuing operations, was roughly EUR -4.2 million. While the
result for the previous fiscal year was EUR -6.4 million, the
improvement was roughly EUR 2.2 million.

The presented advance information is unaudited and it is not based on
a financial report approved by the Board of Directors.

Stonesoft will issue its Financial Statements for 2007 on February
15, 2008, as previously announced.
