Shares subscribed with the Outokumpu Oyj 2003C stock options and the increase in share capital

STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Between September 9, 2008 and October 24, 2008 a total of 5 000
shares have been subscribed for with the 2003C stock options
(FI0009649412). As a result of the share subscriptions the share
capital of Outokumpu Oyj has increased by EUR 8 500.00.

The increase in share capital has been entered into the Finnish trade
register on November 3, 2008 and the subscribed shares will be listed
on Nasdaq OMX Helsinki and trading will commence along with the old
shares as of November 4, 2008.
