Partial demerger of Oriola-KD Corporation's subsidiary Oriola Oy and nominations in the Oriola-KD Group

In the partial demerger of Oriola-KD Corporation's subsidiary Oriola
Oy which will be implemented on 1 January 2010, the Nordic Healthcare
Trade business of Oriola Oy, including all related assets and
liabilities will be transferred to Oriola-KD Healthcare Oy, a company
to be established. The Pharmaceutical Trade business and all other
assets and liabilities of Oriola Oy will remain in Oriola Oy.
Oriola Oy and Oriola-KD Healthcare Oy are fully owned subsidiaries of
Oriola-KD Corporation. The partial demerger will clarify the Group
structure and enhance the opportunities to develop the Pharmaceutical
Wholesale and Healthcare Trade businesses in Finland.
In connection with the partial demerger, the Vice President of
Oriola-KD Group's Pharmaceutical Trade Finland and member of
Oriola-KD Group's Management Team, Mr. Jukka Niemi will as of 1
January 2010 be appointed to the position of Managing Director of
Oriola Oy in addition to his current responsibilities. The Vice
President of Oriola-KD Group's Healthcare Trade and member of
Oriola-KD Group's Management Team, Mr. Ilari Vaalavirta will as of 1
January 2010 be appointed to the position of Managing Director of
Oriola-KD Healthcare Oy in addition to his current responsibilities.

Mr. Jukka Niemi and Mr. Ilari Vaalavirta will report to Oriola-KD
Corporation's President and CEO, Eero Hautaniemi.
