Interim results for the first half year of 2008

Preliminary pre - tax profit of Kauno tiekimas AB of  the first half year of    
2008 is LTL 238 597 (EUR 69 102). Compared to the interim result for the        
accounting period of 2007, pre - tax profit increased by 95 percent.
