CANCELLATION OF RAMIRENT'S OWN SHARES REGISTERED                                
                                                                                
On 8 May 2008 Ramirent's Board of Directors decided to cancel 1,108 own shares  
that were returned to the company according to the terms and conditions of the  
2006 incentive scheme. The cancellation of these shares has been today          
registered in the Trade Register on. Following registration, the number of      
shares in Ramirent amounts to 108,697,328. The share capital of the company     
remains unchanged at EUR 11,685,081.87.
