Petroleum (OMX: FO-ATLA) today announces that Volantis Exploration Limited (a
wholly owned subsidiary of Atlantic Petroleum UK Limited) has been offered for
award a further five licences in the UK 26th Round. The licence details are as
follows: 



  -- Blocks 44/4 (Split), 44/5 & 45/1. Centrica (Operator) 45%, GDF
     45% and Atlantic Petroleum (Volantis) 10%
  -- Block 44/30 (Split). Centrica (Operator) 90% and Atlantic Petroleum
     (Volantis) 10%
  -- Blocks 47/2b (Split), 47/3g (Split), 47/7 (Split) & 47/8d
     (Part). Centrica (Operator) 52.5%, Serica 37.5% and Atlantic Petroleum
     (Volantis) 10%
  -- Block 44/17e. Atlantic Petroleum (Volantis) 100% 
  -- Blocks 48/13c (Part), 48/14b, 48/18e & 48/19d (Part). Atlantic
     Petroleum (Volantis) 100%
