Share Subscription Price with Sanoma Stock Options 2009 and Market Value of Stock Option Scheme 2009

The share subscription price for Sanoma Corporation's stock option 2009 is EUR
17.41 per share (the trade volume weighted average quotation of the share on the
NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd. during 1 November-31 December 2009 with an addition of
twenty (20) per cent). Each year the dividend is deducted from the subscription
price.

A total of 1,800,000 new shares or existing shares held by the Company can be
subscribed for with stock options 2009. The share subscription period for stock
options 2009 will be 1 November 2012-30 November 2015.

The theoretical market value of stock options in Stock Option Scheme 2008 is EUR
3.96 per stock option. The theoretical market value of the entire scheme is thus
EUR 3,060,000. The theoretical market value of one stock option has been
calculated through the use of Black & Scholes stock option pricing model with
the following input factors: share price EUR 15.76, share subscription price
EUR 17.41, risk free interest rate 2.85%, validity of stock options 5.92 years
and volatility 23.36%.
