Auction result Treasury bills RIKV 12 0917 & RIKV 12 1217

Today at 11:00 am, Government Debt Management auctioned Treasury bills in
series RIKV 12 0917 and RIKV 12 1217. 

The auction was structured as a single-price auction, which means that all
accepted bids are offered to the bidders at the same price. The lowest accepted
price (highest yield) determines the selling price. Yield is calculated as a
simple interest rate based on the Actual/360 day rule. 

                      The main results of the auction were:

RIKV 12 0917:

Number of bids in the series was 16 amounting to ISK 10,640 million nominal
value. Bids were accepted for ISK 8,740 million nominal value at the price of
99.107 (simple interest of 3.16%). 

RIKV 12 1217:

Number of bids in the series was 14 amounting to ISK 4,850 million nominal
value. Bids were accepted for ISK 2,400 million nominal value at the price of
98.159 (simple interest of 3.65%).
