Nurminen Logistics to become the largest paper and cardboard handler at the Port of Helsinki


Nurminen Logistics Plc              Stock exchange release 27 September 2013 at
09:45 a.m. 

Nurminen Logistics has signed a significant contract with the paper and pulp
company Sappi to handle paper products at Nurminen Logistics' terminal at
Vuosaari Harbour. Sappi will consolidate all of its shipping through the Port
of Helsinki to Nurminen Logistics' terminal in Vuosaari. The cooperation will
gradually start with limited quantities in Q4 2013 to be fully operational on
the effective start date of 1 January 2014, date when the volume transfer will
be finalized. Nurminen Logistics has also signed a two-year extension contract
with Metsä Board for handling cardboard at Vuosaari Harbour. The combined
annual sales from the two contracts will be in excess of EUR 5 million. The
paper and cardboard handling volume in Vuosaari will be some 350,000 tonnes per
year, equivalent to approximately 31,000 (TEU) containers.
