ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT

Ruukki Group Plc has today received an announcement pursuant to Securities      
Market Act regarding a change in shareholding.                                  

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (English registration number 2711006) announces that       
ownership of its subsidiaries exceeds one tenth (1/10) of the share capital and 
voting rights of Ruukki Group Plc in consequence of transactions carried out on 
20 September 2007.
