Aktia raises its prime rate to 5.00 per cent as of 3 July 2008

Aktia Savings Bank plc raises its prime rate by 0.50 per cent to 5.00
per cent due to increased inflation expectations and higher market
rates. The new target rate will apply from 3 July 2008.
