Elisa has received the following notice in accordance with Chapter 2,
Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Market Act:

BlackRock Inc.'s proportion of the total number of Elisa shares and
voting rights has exceeded 5 % (1/20)

1.  Target Company: Elisa Corporation (ELI1V).

2. Justification of the flagging announcement: The combined holdings
due to BlackRock's acquisition of Barclays Global Investors.

3. Date of change in holdings: 1 December 2009
