Invitation to a briefing and teleconference

Vacon Plc, Stock Exchange Release, 25 January 2011 at 1:15 p.m:

Vacon will publish its 2010 Financial Statement on Wednesday, 2 February, 2011
at 9.30 a.m. Finnish time.

A briefing for the financial analysts, investors and media will be held on the
same day at Scandic Simonkenttä, address Simonkatu 9, 00100 Helsinki, at 11:30
a.m. Finnish time (9:30 UK time). The briefing will be held in Finnish. Please
inform IR Johanna Koskinen of your participation no later than Monday January
31, 2011 at 2 p.m.

A dial-in conference in English for investors and investment analysts will be
held at 3.00 pm (EET) on 2 February 2011. President and CEO Vesa Laisi and
