TietoEnator to reorganise Banking & Insurance SAP competencies in Germany

TietoEnator and the German Resco GmbH (a part of the Acando Group)
have made a Memorandum of Understanding regarding an asset deal.
According to the plan, Resco will take over a part of TietoEnator's
SAP businesses, related business agreements as well as 21 SAP experts
working for the business area Banking & Insurance.

In addition, TietoEnator has made a Memorandum of Understanding
regarding an asset deal for a management buy-out arrangement. The
buy-out includes the SAP Human Capital Management consulting team of
about 16 employees who will transfer to a new company.

At the same time, the hosting operations with one employee will be
internally transferred from Banking & Insurance to the Processing &
Network business area.

All arrangements concern TietoEnator's Banking & Insurance
organisation in Germany and are expected to take place on 1 June
2007.

The net sales of the SAP businesses that are transferred outside of
TietoEnator Group totalled about EUR 5.8 million and operating loss
about EUR 1.2 million in 2006.  The capital loss from the
transactions is expected to be approximately EUR 4 million.

In the future, TietoEnator Banking & Insurance will focus on the
solutions business for the banking, financing and re-insurance
industries.

Martti Paajanen, Head of TietoEnator Banking & Insurance Germany,
said: "The divested SAP consulting services are non-industry-related
businesses. Their role fits well with the new owners' strategy and
business development plans. In the future, we will focus on areas
where we are able to utilise synergy benefits from our existing
solutions. In other industry expertise areas TietoEnator continues
developing SAP business.
