HUHTAMÄKI OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 4.4.2013 AT 12:20

Huhtamäki Oyj has today received an announcement according to which the holding
of Suomen Kulttuurirahasto (Finnish Cultural Foundation), Business ID
0116947-3, has on April 4, 2013 decreased below the threshold of 15% of the
number of shares and voting rights in Huhtamäki Oyj.

According to the announcement, the holding of Suomen Kulttuurirahasto (Finnish
Cultural Foundation) has decreased from 18,286,377 shares to 15,500,000 shares.
The holding corresponds to approximately 14.4% of the shares and voting rights
in Huhtamäki Oyj.

Huhtamäki Oyj has one class of shares and the total number of shares and votes
is 107,304,221. Huhtamäki Oyj holds 4,227,589 own shares.
