Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

Regarding Information, Published in the Media

On May 21, 2009 media sources published information stating that from July 1
electricity tariff could be reduced by LTC 1.67 at the expense of the national
energy group of companies LEO LT, due to which fact this year the group would
not receive LTL 52 million litas of income. 

LEO LT, AB controls Rytų Skirstomieji Tinklai AB, joint-stock company VST and
Lietuvos Energija AB. 

Furthermore, Lietuvos Energija AB notes that information about the confirmed
specific electricity tariffs as well as the data about the results of further
performance of the company will be published in compliance with requirements
for divulging of such information.
