NORDSTJERNAN OBTAINED THE RIGHT TO ALL SHARES IN SALCOMP

SALCOMP PLC                      Stock Exchange Release 22 September 2011 at

In relation to the redemption proceedings concerning the minority shares in
Salcomp Plc (Salcomp), Nordstjernan AB (Nordstjernan) has today set the
required security and has thereby obtained the right to the entire Salcomp
stock of shares, as provided under Chapter 18, Section 6 of the Finnish
Companies Act. After the setting of the security, the Salcomp minority
shareholders who are parties to the redemption process are only entitled to
receive the redemption price and the interest payable on it. 

On the request of Salcomp, the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd has decided that the
Salcomp shares will be delisted from the Helsinki stock exchange once the right
to all Salcomp shares has been transferred to Nordstjernan. Thus, the listing
of the Salcomp shares on the Helsinki stock exchange will cease today in
accordance with a separate release of Helsinki stock exchange.
