Sponda Plc issues EUR 175 million bond

Sponda Plc issues a EUR 175 million senior unsecured bond. The five-year bond
matures on 20 May 2020 and carries fixed annual coupon at the rate of 2.375 per
cent. 

The bond was allocated to 50 investors and the bond offering was significantly
oversubscribed. Application will be made to have the bond listed on the NASDAQ
OMX Helsinki. 

The proceeds from the bond offering will be used to repay the EUR 100 million
bond that matures in May 2015 and other existing debt and for general corporate
purposes. 

Pohjola Bank and Swedbank acted as joint lead managers and bookrunners for the
transaction.
