The factory in Akaa has manufactured mirrors for solar energy production as a service activity on behalf of one customer. Tamglass Glass Processing's personnel has been temporarily laid off since October 2009. The cessation of operations in Akaa does not affect Glaston Corporation's manufacturing and product development of products aimed at the manufacture of solar energy glass.
