RAISIO'S CODETERMINATION TALKS COMPLETED

Raisio's codetermination talks, initiated in November for production and
economy reasons, have been completed. The talks will lead to the reduction of
nine employees. The codetermination talks involved the Business to Business
Division, as well as raw material procurement and reception, affecting
approximately 80 Raisio employees. 

Raisio is taking these efficiency enhancement measures to streamline and
simplify its operations in order to secure future profitability.
