FINNLINES INFORMS                                                               

The Board of Directors of Finnlines Plc has appointed Mr. Olav K. Rakkenes, a   
member of the Board of Directors, temporary President and CEO of Finnlines Plc  
as from 24 April, 2007.                                                         

Mr. Antti Lagerroos will be acting as advisor for the Board of Directors of     
Finnlines Plc until 31 August, 2007.
