DISCLOSURE OF CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP OF MARIMEKKO CORPORATION PURSUANT TO THE
SECURITIES MARKETS ACT, CHAPTER 2, PARAGRAPH 10 

Pursuant to the Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Paragraph 10, Marimekko
Corporation (Business Identity Code 0111316-2) announces that it has been
informed that SEB Asset Management S.A´s share of Marimekko Corporation´s share
capital and voting rights has fallen below 1/20, i.e. decreased to 2.05% due to
a stock loan on 19 April 2011 and that the shareholding will revert to 5.77% in
due course. The loan period has not been disclosed to the company. 

According to the disclosure, SEB Asset Management S.A´s share of Marimekko
Corporation´s share capital and voting rights is the following:
