Interim report for the period January-September 2008 will be published on
Wednesday, 22 October 2008 at approximately 9:00 Finnish time. The interim
report will be available on the company website at www.ruukki.com after
publishing. 

Presentation for analysts and press will be held on 22 October at 10:30 Finnish
time at Ruukki, Suolakivenkatu 1, 00810 Helsinki.
